Evie is just one of the reasons why Infernal Ties is as amazing as it is. Holly has created a strong voice in her protagonist who knows how to fend for herself. She has a can-do, never-say-die attitude that burns like a flame within her and it infectiously leaps off the page! On the other hand, Evie’s profound love for her brother and her drive to protect him is just as poignant, giving her a human side and a strong motivation to push her through every conflict.

And boy, is there conflict! Each step Evie takes on the road to reunite with her brother is fraught with obstacles and challenges that she has to face on her own — for the most part. And that’s another great part of the fun! The supporting characters! Kadrix. Elise. Serena. They guide Evie on, fleeting in and out of scenes, but leaving an impression nonetheless.

Holly knows how to craft a thrilling story and draws us into her world of Prague, creating such vivid imagery so that the setting becomes our own. She offers excitement and wonder with every page!

I only wish that it could have been longer! Because it was so wonderful!. The story set out in the beginning reaches a satisfying conclusion, but there are still so many questions that hang in the air and the promise of further adventures is just too much to deny. No sooner had I finished the last word that I wished for the first word of the next novel to catch my eyes!

If you’re looking for a great urban fantasy and a new author to become enamoured with, then I highly recommend you pre-order Infernal Ties (releases July 1st) and prepare yourself to be hooked!
