NaNoWriMo: Day Four

Another day gone! Wow. It’s amazing how quickly time seems to slip by, especially when you’re racing against it. Hopefully this tortoise will be able to defeat the hare!

Today was somewhat harder than yesterday, but I managed to hit the 2k mark. I had hoped to write a bit more, but I have come to accept that some days will be better than others. My total word count is resting comfortably at 9,104. I’m almost at the 10k mark. I’ll reach it tomorrow for sure. That’s a promise 😉

One day at a time. One word at a time.

Here are my first and last lines of the day:

“But what does that mean for us?”

She knew from experience that something lost to fate could never be returned.

How did you today? Did you reach your goal? Or fall a little short? How do you stay inspired?

May inspiration flow like ink upon your quill,

Faith quill-ink
